Our independent hotel has earned a reputation for providing comfortable rooms, a nice environment and superior service for our guests. We pride ourselves on helping you get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to relax at our hotel, set amongst the scenic Sherwood Forest.
Whether you want to completely get away from it all, or you’d like to explore, Sherwood Forest is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
We also have a restaurant serving high quality, delicious food and a traditional English Pub bar area, giving you plenty to do if you’d rather stay active.
Cooked breakfast is served in the restaurant area from 7.30 till 9.30 am from Monday to Friday and from 8 till 10 am Saturdays and Sundays. Fresh toasts, Cereals, yogurts and fruits are available from 6.30 am every day.
You’ll find our staff to be friendly and courteous at all times, their priority is making your stay an enjoyable one.
Please note that we do not operate a 24hr reception and that we have a 48hrs cancellation policy.

Check-in time is from 2.30pm until 10pm and check out times at 10.30 am. Early check ins are available from 12pm, but please do let us know in advance.
There will be a surcharge of £20 for early check-ins and late check-outs.

These rooms are an example of our standard doubles, all including en-suite bathrooms, TV, free wifi, tea and coffee facilities and hair dryer.
Our twin rooms feature two single beds and en-suite bathroom, TV, free wifi, tea and coffee facilities and hair dryer.
Our small rooms are quite a bit smaller than our standard doubles, all featuring en-suite bathrooms, tv, free wifi, tea and coffee facilities and hair dryer. Please note that Room 6 has a 4ft bed which is suitable for 2 people for one night stay or for sole occupancy.
We have two types of family room, one with a double bed and two single beds with interconnecting doors and another one with a king size bed and a single bed. Put up beds can be added on request.
