This is what we think...

In an increasingly ubiquitous world, the Forest Lodge aspires to offer all guests, whether local to the area or from further afield, an authentic experience based on the traditional values of an eighteenth century coaching inn, although clearly and conscientiously set in the context of the twenty first century. These values include warmth, hospitality and independence and are delivered by an informal yet informed professionalism. Whether staying in one of our rooms, having a drink or a meal with us, or indeed a mixture of all three, we aim to provide an individual experience which treats our guests as real human beings.
