Hello and welcome back to the Forest Lodge!
The last thirteen months have undoubtedly been difficult for everybody in one way or another but, happily, we can now hopefully begin to enjoy life again in this post third lockdown world. Since it was announced that places such as ours could re-open from Monday 17th May 2021, we have done a lot of work to prepare for this moment. We have once again undertaken all the necessary Covid-19 risk assessments and are confident that we have made the Forest Lodge as safe as it can reasonably be made.
With this in mind, and in line with the Government’s announcement and restrictions, we have adopted various measures around the premises to help to keep our customers as safe as possible. In short you will be required to wear a face cover in the building except when you are sat at a table or when in your room It is now a legal requirement to check in venues with the NHS app by scanning the QR code displayed in the premises on entering the building which is part of the Government’s ‘Track & Trace’ program. You will be expected to adhere to the Government guidance on the rule of 6 and meeting another household.
You will be encouraged to maintain a social distance of at least one meter whilst in the building, two meters when outside. You will notice several hand sanitizing stations located at entrance and exit points. Please use them! And you will not be allowed to congregate at the bars for now: table service will be provided for both drinks and meals.
We are encouraging customers to reserve a table prior to coming, whether this be for a meal or a drink. In that way, you will be guaranteed a spot! You will be allocated a time slot on booking. You can of course turn up on spec but please be aware that we might not be able to accommodate you. Once our tables are full, they’re full! And in the same spirit, we would are allocating a time slot of two hours per table. In this way, everybody will get a chance to enjoy the pub!

Please note that on very quiet nights, we might shut the establishment earlier than 22:30.
We will not tolerate any unwillingness to abide by our guidelines or indeed abuse of any sort. It may be the case that we have to make some adjustments and changes to our initial policies but we will do so at our own pace and as we see fit.
